Sermons

As of January 2010, we have chosen to only produce AUDIO sermons due to the time it takes to make a video version.   Producing only AUDIO versions allows us more time to study scriptures and minister to others.  You can use the SERMON PLAYER on the side of this page to get the sermons in AUDIO format as well as import them into iTunes or your IPOD player.  We thank you for your support and understanding.  ~ Sincerely, the Staff.

29-November-2009, “The Influence,”  Pastor Jason.

Pastor Jason looks at scripture and asks the difficult question, “who is influencing your children?”  His primary scripture is from Deuteronomy 6:4-9.

22-November-2009, “The Thankfulness Of One,” Pastor Bill.

Ten lepers were healed by Jesus, only one came back with thankfulness in his heart.  Why?  Are we truly thankful for all that God gives us and for who He is?

15-November-2009, “Where is That Sense of Blessing You Had?” Pastor Bill.

Paul asked the Galatians, “what happened to your joy?”  Pastor Bill looks at Paul’s interactions with the church at Galatia and asks the same question.

08-November-2009, “Approaching the Bible: Words For Life,” Pastor Bill.

In this final sermon in the series “Approaching the Bible,” Bill uses a loaf of bread and reviews the story of the wilderness adventures of the Israelites to point out the fact that man was not created to live on bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God – Deuteronomy 8:3.

01-November-2009,  “The Big Question,”  Pastor Bill.

The Apostle John wrote about the three wrong ways people try to get to heaven and the one right way.  In this sermon Bill looks at these and answers the question, “How do I get to heaven?”  Text:  John 1:12-13.

25-October-2009, “Approaching the Bible: God’s Moral Principles,” Pastor Bill.

In part four of five in “Approaching the Bible” Bill talks about the need to trust God’s principles for our every activity.  Primary scripture: Psalms 119:45.

18-October-2009, “Approaching the Bible: Claiming the Promises,” Pastor Bill.

Many in today’s world try to manipulate God by informing Him about His promises.  Unfortunately, that doesn’t work.  In part three of five in his series “Approaching the Bible,” Bill explains that God’s promises are so we can get involved in what God is doing, not so He can get in on what we are doing.  Primary text: 2Pet 1:2-4.

11-October-2009, “Approaching the Bible: Dealing with Doubt,” Pastor Bill.

In part two of five in the series “Approaching the Bible” Bill talks about the problem of doubt.  We all experience it, but how do we overcome it?  Primary scripture: Luke 7:11-23.
